Private Instruction

Private and small group instruction is the best way to improve your playing on any instrument. I offer individualized lessons to help you build your strengths and address your weaknesses. My teaching philosophy emphasizes the development of the "whole" musician, with focus on helping each student find their voice in addition to fundamentals.

The modern brass player is required to play countless styles of music and in many different types of ensembles. From the rock band horn section, to the "jazz chair" in a big band, to the symphony orchestra, all brass players require good tone production and command of their instrument. My unique musical experience can help you excel in any style.

I teach private lessons at two studio locations in the greater-Sacramento area. Weekly lessons last thirty minutes and are offered for theory/composition as well as brass instruments including: trumpet, french horn, trombone, baritone/euphonium, tuba, and others. McLaughlin Studios - Loomis, CA - Mondays & Tuesdays
This is a fantastic music education facility located near "downtown" Loomis. The studios not only offer private lessons, but group and ensemble classes as well. They also offer students an opportunity to perform in recitals several times per year.
